HTCR HOSPITALITY MINISTRY NEWSLETTER
WELCOME TO
THE HEART OF HOSPITALITY
Serve God, Serve Others, Serve Together”
A gathering place to meet in fellowship with our neighbors
Our Mission: The mission of the Hospitality Ministry Team at HTC is to create an open atmosphere where ALL are welcome to join in worship, fellowship and that every person entering the church is greeted and that visitors are quickly made to feel at home.
In order to carry out our shared mission and ministry effectively, our team have been given areas of ministry to oversee. You can read about these departments and their ministries in the section below.
Being a part of this team would mean participating in the area to which you feel led and in which you are gifted. If you have the gift of hospitality, love meeting people, and are not afraid of meeting someone new, you may want to consider being a part of the Hospitality Ministry Team.
Pastor’s Note:
Grace and peace! Congratulations on your first edition of “The Heart of Hospitality” We at HTCR are blessed to have a hospitality team that faithfully serves us every Sunday. We thank God for all that you do! You labor of love is not in vain. Keep up the good work.
Bishop & Minister Nelson

“Quiet Waters”
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort we ourselves have received from God so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in your patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:2-7.
* Spiritual Blessing of Food Through the Word Every Sunday morning we are privileged, honored and blessed to have the Man of God Bishop Curtis D. Nelson who brings forth the Rhema Word of God, the spiritual blessing of food through the Word which is as important as water to drink or air to breathe. It is only through the knowledge of God found in the Bible that a believer can have a filter to sift and sort truth from error. It is only through God's revealed Word that the believer can learn the will of God and their purpose in life. David loved God and he loved His Word. All 176 verses in Psalm 119 mention the Word of God. “How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103) . So after the blessed word of God we also provide healthy nutritional snacks such as fresh fruits and pastries downstairs in the fellowship Hall for everyone to enjoy as the Hospitality team shares an atmosphere of love to our church family, our visitors and guest What would be a fellowship without a table laden with the bounty of God's good earth around which we can gather and give thanks? We also prepare special meals as we plan for all occasions as a good opportunity for fellowship and sharing God's love.
